Maintenance Supervisor - Swing ShiftLocation: Turlock, CACompensation: $80,000-$95,000 + Bonus OpportunitiesOur client, a leader in the food and beverage manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations on the swing shift at their Turlock, CA facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is passionate about driving uptime and equipment reliability. In this role, you will manage a team of 10 maintenance technicians, ensuring all plant machinery operates safely and efficiently. You'll take ownership of preventive maintenance programs, troubleshoot equipment issues, and lead continuous improvement efforts across the facility.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and manage the swing shift maintenance team.Assign daily tasks, provide coaching, and conduct performance reviews.Build a safety-focused and high-performing maintenance culture.Maintenance OperationsDevelop and manage preventive maintenance strategies to reduce unplanned downtime.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.Coordinate emergency repairs and oversee third-party contractors when needed.Scheduling & CoordinationCreate and maintain detailed maintenance schedules.Work closely with production and operations teams to align maintenance activities with plant goals.Inventory & Budget OversightMonitor spare parts and tool inventory to ensure availability and cost efficiency.Support budgeting efforts and help identify opportunities to reduce maintenance costs.Process & Performance ImprovementAnalyze equipment performance data to drive continuous improvement.Recommend and implement process enhancements to boost plant efficiency and reliability.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with production, quality, and engineering teams to support overall plant operations.Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve maintenance concerns.Qualifications:EducationBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.ExperienceMinimum 5 years in a manufacturing maintenance role, including at least 2 years in a leadership position. Prior experience in food or beverage manufacturing is highly desirable.SkillsStrong knowledge of plant equipment, maintenance procedures, and safety standards.Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance planning tools.Excellent leadership, troubleshooting, and communication abilities.Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
