With a commitment to detail, quality, and craftsmanship, STRATA continues to evolve while staying grounded in its cultural origins.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Logistics Manager based in Doral, FL. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing supply chain operations, managing inventory, procuring materials, and ensuring efficient logistics and transportation of products. Daily tasks include coordinating shipments, working with suppliers, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products.Inventory and Warehouse ManagementPredict demand and maintain optimal stock levels.Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping of goods.Keep Warehouse Mondays Boards accurate and updated.Compare purchase orders, packing lists, and check-in documents to identify and resolve discrepancies.Transportation and Distribution Plan and coordinate transportation routes, schedule shipments, and optimize delivery processes.Select carriers, negotiate shipping rates, and manage fleets.Coordinate pick-ups and drop-offs with the team driver.Track deliveries to ensure timely and accurate distribution.Supplier and Factory Communication Maintain strong communication with factories and ensure they receive all shipping requirements.Provide factory packing lists to the Warehouse Manager.Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and ensure timely delivery of materials.Compliance and DocumentationEnsure compliance with customs regulations and manage all necessary documentation.Collaborate with customs brokers as needed for import and exportBe up to date on customs requirementsCustomer Service and Issue ResolutionAddress customer inquiries and ensure on-time order delivery.Resolve issues related to transportation, inventory discrepancies, and general supply chain operations.Financial Management Analyze and manage logistics budgets.Schedule payments for shipments and follow up on urgent invoices.Process Improvement and Risk ManagementIdentify and implement improvements to logistics and supply chain processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.Monitor shipments to prevent delays or disruptions and implement contingency plans.Lead initiatives to improve customer satisfaction.CollaborationWork cross-functionally with teams in sales, marketing, finance, and operations to ensure alignment and smooth workflow.Data AnalysisUse data to track logistics performance, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making.Skills and QualificationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration abilities.Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes, including warehousing, transportation, customs, and distribution.Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team.Excellent organizational and time management abilitiesExperience in Logistics Management and Supply Chain ManagementBilingual Spanish and English is a plusAbility to work on-site in Miami, FLRelevant experience in the fashion or textile industry is a plusBachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
