Company DescriptionRepair Authority is a pioneer in redefining the repair and servicing of home medical equipment. With a legacy of 30 years, Repair Authority has serviced over 750,000 units, including concentrators, CPAPs, ventilators, liquid oxygen equipment, and more.Role DescriptionAs the Human Resources Manager, you will work closely with the Executive Team to oversee and execute all HR functions. You will be responsible for managing HR functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compliance. The role will involve handling day-to-day HR operations and supporting employee development and well-being.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & OnboardingManage talent acquisition, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and job offer extensions.Conduct organizational onboarding, including paperwork processing, compliance training, and benefits enrollment.Employee Relations & SupportServe as the primary liaison for employee concerns, providing counseling and guidance on performance, discipline, and grievance issues.Develop and oversee employee engagement, retention initiatives, and recognition programs.HR Administration & ComplianceEnsure compliance with labor regulations, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and Department of Labor requirements.Process payroll in collaboration with the Controller and manage employee benefits.Administer short- and long-term disability claims, workers' compensation, and ergonomic accommodations.Performance Management & Organizational DevelopmentOversee performance appraisal systems and assist in the annual compensation review process.Support leadership with staff development and career path initiatives to motivate and inspire employees.Special Projects & Strategic PlanningPartner with the Practice Administrator to develop and execute new initiatives aimed at improving staff morale and operational excellence.Must-Have SkillsExperience: 3-5 years of real-world HR experience (healthcare experience is not required).Comprehensive HR Expertise: Recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, and compliance.Education: High school diploma or equivalent (advanced business degree or HR certification preferred).Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.Soft SkillsFriendly, compassionate, and approachable personality.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to inspire and motivate staff while fostering a positive work culture.Repair Authority is an equal opportunity employer.
