Distribution Operations Manager

FPC of Wake Forest has been engaged to locate a Distribution Operations Manager for a rapidly growing client in the life sciences space. This role represents a great opportunity to join a great company focused on delivering efficiency in the healthcare industry.Excellent growth opportunity!!So, what will you be doing as a Distribution Operations Manager?-Provide leadership and oversight to day-to-day distribution operations-Maintain and encourage a positive, customer-focused experience-Develop Key Performance Indicators and execute on countermeasures as needed-Optimize material flow thorough the warehouse (receiving, put away, picking, packing, shipping)-Create and implement standard operating proceduresTo be successful, you will need:-BS in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or another related field-8+ years of experience in Distribution Operations-5+ years of leadership experience; ability to connect with and motivate your team-Proven ability to develop and document procedures-Strong understanding of Quality Systems/ISO 9000-Ability to communicate clearly to all levels of the organization.-Working knowledge of WMSThings considered a plus:-MBA-Experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical distribution-CDR license (California/Florida)-Tecsys-Experience with Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing, Six SigmaWhat to do next:Now that you have had the chance to learn about the role, what are you waiting for?!
