We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. his role plays a critical part in ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time, helping to streamline workflows, prevent shortages, and reduce waste. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of inventory systems, is process-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across all storage locationsPerform regular inventory counts (cycle counts, spot checks, full physical counts) and reconcile discrepanciesReceive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments; ensure inventory is correctly logged into the systemTrack inventory movements and transfers between departments, locations, or job sitesWork with purchasing and operations teams to anticipate and prevent stockouts or overstock situationsAnalyze inventory data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or process improvementsEnsure all inventory activities comply with company policies and safety standardsPrepare and submit inventory reports to management on a regular basisAssist in implementing and optimizing inventory management software or ERP systemsSupport warehouse organization, labeling, and storage optimizationQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or logistics (preferred)2-4 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials managementStrong knowledge of inventory tracking systems and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)Experience with ERP or inventory software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Fishbowl, etc.)Solid math and data entry skills with attention to detailAbility to lift/move items as needed and work in warehouse environmentsStrong communication and organizational skillsPreferred Attributes:Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (if required)HVAC, manufacturing, or distribution industry experienceKnowledge of barcoding systems and inventory automation toolsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionFor immediate consideration please send your resume All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
