Technical Product Manager - Textile Engineering ?? Hudson, NC ?? Full-time Our client is a global leader in performance textiles with a strong presence in the U.S. market. Known for innovation, durability, and sustainability, they specialize in high-quality outdoor and shade fabrics used in a wide range of commercial and residential applications.Role Objectives: ? Ensure profitability of assortments and monitor product life cycles ? Manage and execute annual and long-term product development projects ? Coordinate with marketing, sales, finance, design, and production teams ? Support technical documentation and quality improvement initiatives ? Identify target markets with sales and business development leadership ? Maintain alignment with environmental and quality compliance standardsKey Responsibilities: ? Conduct technical feasibility testing and analysis for new fabrics ? Monitor and control the sampling process and quality benchmarks ? Analyze tissue composition and generate technical data for R&D ? Define material usage, calculate inputs, and issue production specs ? Act as the main contact for production-related technical inquiries ? Provide marketing support and present data insights and trends ? Participate in cross-functional meetings and manage assigned projectsQualifications: ? Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering + 5 years of technical product management experience "” or Master's degree in Engineering ? Training in textile technology (yarn, raw/final fabrics, finishing) ? Strong project management knowledge and leadership skills ? Excellent written and verbal communication across all organizational levels ? Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SAP; CAD Penelope (preferred) ? Detail-oriented, hands-on leader with strong analytical and problem-solving skills ? Team player with a background in root cause analysis, testing, and feasibility evaluation
