At Total Civil Construction & Engineering, we're looking for a Human Resources Generalist who's ready to support the field and the office with impactful HR strategies, full-cycle recruiting, and exceptional employee experiences.?? What You'll Do:As a Human Resources Generalist, you'll be the go-to person for both day-to-day employee needs and high-impact initiatives. You'll partner with operations and leadership to ensure compliance, foster growth, and keep our team aligned and supported.Your role will include:Lead recruitment and onboarding for salaried and hourly field staffCoordinate interviews, offer letters, background checks, and I-9/E-VerifyAdminister employee benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, FMLA, Unemployment)Maintain and update employee records, job descriptions, and HR systems (Foundation, Heavy Job)Assist with open enrollment, insurance billing, and claims managementSupport employee relations, performance reviews, and disciplinary actionsEnsure compliance with HR regulations and internal proceduresOrganize social events and wellness initiativesRespond to employment verifications, garnishments, child support requestsAssist with immigration processes (H-1B, PERMs, etc.)Provide hands-on support across HR, planning, and payroll departments???? What You Bring:We're seeking a professional who is people-focused, detail-oriented, and proactive.Education & Certifications:Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or social sciences (required)PHR/CP certification (preferred)Software & Systems:Experience with Foundation and Heavy JobStrong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook; PowerPoint preferred)Experience & Skills:Minimum 3 years in a Human Resources Generalist roleBilingual English/Spanish Strong understanding of benefits administration, labor laws, and recruiting best practicesExcellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities??
