Job Description

Elite Connector partnered with a Machinery Manufacturing client to seek a results-driven and strategic Director of Operations to oversee and optimize their day-to-day operational functions. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing assembly operations, sales, P&L, budgeting, and financial oversight, along with a strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations and ensure alignment with strategic business goals.Manage full P&L responsibilities, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.Lead the development and execution of annual budgets in collaboration with finance and executive leadership.Analyze financial statements and operational performance to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.Implement and refine operational processes to enhance productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction.Build and lead high-performing teams, providing mentorship and promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Partner with department heads to set performance metrics and track key KPIs.Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.Evaluate and manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).5+ years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Demonstrated expertise in P&L management and budgeting within a small to mid-sized organization.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in operations management software (ERP) and financial systems.Preferred Experience:Experience in machinery manufacturing.Change management or business transformation initiatives.Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.What We Offer:Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.Collaborative and dynamic work environment.
