Export Control Specialist (Americas)Location: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote) - Akron, OH areaWe're seeking an experienced Export Control Specialist to serve as the primary compliance interface for our Americas region. In this hybrid role, you'll support both regional teams and the central Export Control function, ensuring alignment with global trade regulations.Key Responsibilities:Act as the regional liaison for export control and sanctions complianceSupport Export Control Coordinators with inquiries and compliance tasksStay current on global trade regulations and share guidanceScreen business partners for compliance with international sanctionsAssist with classification of products, technologies, and equipmentAdvise project teams on compliance risks related to embargoed regions or sensitive entitiesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in International Business, Trade Compliance, Economics, Law, or related field3+ years of experience in trade compliance or export controlStrong knowledge of international trade laws and sanctionsExperience in global business environmentsExcellent communication and analytical skillsIf interested in the Export Control Specialist please apply directly and/or email jpierson@.
