The Director of Rooms Division will oversee operation of the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Security. They will work closely with the General Manager (and or AGM) on special projects and assignments. Responsible for the management, evaluation, and performance of all Rooms Division functions, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Common Area, Laundry, Concierge, PBX and Bell Staff/Shuttle/Valet Service. The Rooms Division Director is responsible for maximizing guest service scores and opportunities within the Division. This position will be on the Executive Committee. From lobby to linens - own the guest journey! Key Responsibilities:Oversee Rooms OperationsManage front office, housekeeping, laundry, reservations, and guest services to ensure smooth, high-quality service. Enhance Guest ExperienceEnsure rooms are clean and ready, address guest concerns, and maintain high satisfaction scores. Lead and Train StaffHire, train, and lead department managers and team members. Manage Budgets and PerformanceControl expenses, optimize occupancy, and improve revenue metrics like ADR and RevPAR. Ensure Standards & ComplianceMaintain brand standards, safety protocols, and efficient procedures. Use of TechnologyOversee and optimize use of property systems (e.g., PMS, housekeeping software). Maintain readiness for operational disruptions or emergencies Required Experience:5 years of progressive hotel/resort experience in full-service properties over 500 rooms. Extensive Rooms Division experience in Housekeeping and Front Desk. Have a broad understanding of the tourism industry and the day-to-day functions of all aspects of a resort.
