Job Title: HR Generalist (Temp-to-Hire)Location: Los Angeles, CA (Onsite or Hybrid depending on client preference)Compensation: $30-$33/hr (Temp) | $65,000-$70,000/year (Upon Conversion)Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-HireAbout the Role:We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced HR Generalist to join a mission-driven nonprofit organization. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity ideal for candidates who bring strong HR experience and are looking to grow within a stable, purpose-focused environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage onboarding and orientation for new hiresHandle employee benefits administration and open enrollment supportProcess and manage employee Leaves of Absence (LOA)Serve as a point of contact for employee relations and HR inquiriesSupport HR compliance and policy administrationAssist with reporting, records management, and other generalist dutiesQualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience as a true HR GeneralistPrevious experience in a nonprofit environment highly preferredStrong knowledge of California labor laws, benefits, and LOA processesExcellent communication and organizational skillsDemonstrated job stability-no excessive short-term rolesAbility to thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven workplaceCompensation & Conversion:Temp hourly rate: $30-$33/hrTarget salary upon conversion: $65,000-$70,000/year (depending on experience; $70K max)If you're a dedicated HR professional looking for a long-term role in a nonprofit setting, we'd love to hear from you.
