Senior Cost Analyst (Dekalb County)

Our manufacturing client is expanding operations and hiring a full-time Senior Cost Analyst for their corporate office, located just 40 minutes from Murfreesboro, TN.This position will lead efforts to increase profitability and reduce costs across all new and ongoing projects by driving cost estimation, budget tracking, and continuous cost improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement cost management strategies to support profit growthDrive accurate cost estimating and profitability/ROI planning across projectsProvide accurate quotations and re-quotations, including for engineering changesLead cost-reduction activities from pre-production through launchMonitor progress, track actual costs vs. forecasts and report project profitability to senior leadershipImprove processes for cost tracking, data analysis, and internal communicationLeverage historical trends and performance to improve forecasting accuracyIdentify cost-saving opportunities and recommend operational improvementsCollaborate cross-functionally to improve cost planning accuracyQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in cost planning, cost engineering, program controls, or financial/project analysisAutomotive manufacturing experience strongly preferredPosition Offers:Base salary ($80K-$90K, depending on experience)Full benefits package: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, tuition assistanceLong-term growth and advancement opportunitiesEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled?To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:?The California Fair Chance ActLos Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance?
