Position: Full-time Senior Packaging DesignerLocation: Remote US onlyOur client specializes in branding, packaging design, and marketing for the cannabis industry. Their team is made up of passionate, innovative individuals dedicated to delivering exceptional design solutions that elevate brands and drive growth.We're seeking a talented and experienced Senior Packaging Designer to join our client's team. In this role, you'll take the lead in developing packaging concepts and seeing them through to final production across a variety of cannabis-related products. You'll collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to translate brand strategies into bold, effective packaging that stands out on the shelf"”and meets all production standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate packaging designs from concept to production for cannabis goods, THC beverages, and related toolsPartner with clients and internal teams to understand brand positioning, audience, and packaging goalsStay current with design trends and market insights to inform creative directionPresent concepts and articulate design thinking to clients for feedback and approvalEnsure production-ready files meet all technical specs and brand guidelinesWork closely with production teams to ensure smooth execution and quality controlGuide and mentor junior designers with feedback, direction, and supportManage multiple design projects, timelines, and priorities with strong attention to detailStay up to date on design tools, techniques, and best practicesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field5+ years of packaging design experience (agency experience strongly preferred)A strong portfolio demonstrating creative range and execution in packaging designProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and PhotoshopSolid understanding of packaging materials, printing processes, and production standardsStrong communication, presentation, and collaboration skillsAbility to manage deadlines and juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentExperience mentoring or leading junior designers is a plusTo apply, please submit your resume and portfolio link/case studies for immediate consideration.Due to the volume of applications, we are unable to respond to each application personally.
