Associate Director, Analytical DevelopmentLocation: Princeton, NJ (Hybrid)Full-Time | Department: R&D / Analytical SciencesA leading pharmaceutical company specializing in innovative drug delivery systems and complex dosage forms is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Analytical Development to join its growing R&D team. This role is ideal for a scientifically driven leader with a strong background in nutraceuticals and a passion for advancing analytical capabilities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage analytical development activities for nutraceutical and pharmaceutical products from early development through commercialization.Design and oversee method development, validation, and transfer for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.Collaborate cross-functionally with formulation, regulatory, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure analytical strategies align with project goals.Author and review technical documents including protocols, reports, and regulatory submissions (IND, NDA, DMF).Ensure compliance with cGMP, ICH, and FDA guidelines.Mentor and develop junior scientists and analysts within the department.QualificationsPh.D. or M.S. in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.Minimum 8+ years of industry experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership roleProven expertise in nutraceutical product development and analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, UV-Vis, dissolution).Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for dietary supplements and pharmaceutical products.Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
