A leading private equity firm based in Santa Monica is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator or Generalist to join their dynamic team. This is an onsite role requiring in-office presence five days per week. The firm offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and a discretionary bonus.Private Equity Firm: Human Resources Generalist or CoordinatorLocation: Santa Monica, CA (Onsite 5x/week)Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 + Excellent Benefits + Discretionary BonusKey Responsibilities:Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional responsesSupport the onboarding and offboarding process, including preparing new hire paperwork, coordinating orientation sessions, and managing exit proceduresMaintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulationsAssist with benefits administration, including enrollments, terminations, and employee inquiriesCoordinate employee engagement initiatives such as team-building events, wellness programs, and volunteer opportunitiesManage the firm's HRIS system, updating employee data and generating reports as neededSupport performance review processes, training programs, and internal communicationsAssist with recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, and maintaining candidate recordsHandle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all timesProvide administrative support to the HR team, including calendar management, filing, and preparing HR-related correspondenceQualifications:1-3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a corporate or financial services environmentBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferredStrong understanding of HR best practices and employment regulationsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organizationProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS systems preferredAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalismWhy Join Us?This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a high-performing team at a prestigious private equity firm.
