Associate Litigation Attorney - Child AdvocacyWest Chester, PA | Full-Time | Temporary PositionTrustPoint.One is partnering with a respected boutique litigation law firm to identify an Associate Attorney with a demonstrated interest in Child Advocacy. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children while gaining valuable courtroom experience in dependency and family law matters.About the Role:The Associate Attorney will support the firm's Child Advocacy Litigation group, managing cases from intake through resolution. This position requires hands-on litigation experience, including attending court hearings, preparing witnesses, managing discovery, and coordinating with court personnel, clients, and child welfare agencies.Key Responsibilities:Attend scheduled court appearances and hearingsIndependently manage a caseload, including file review, preparation of witnesses, and litigation strategy developmentPrepare subpoenas, pleadings, and other necessary documentsCoordinate communication with caseworkers, experts, clients, and court administrationUtilize firm templates and resources to effectively manage cases from start to finishQualifications:Active Pennsylvania Bar License required1+ years of litigation experience preferred; newly admitted attorneys with relevant clinic or internship experience are encouraged to applyPrior courtroom experience is strongly preferred; familiarity with child dependency or family law matters is a plusExperience working with Children and Youth Services (CYS) or child advocacy clinics is advantageousHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a teamWhy This Opportunity Matters:This role offers a unique chance to join a dedicated legal team focused on child advocacy in West Chester.
