Human Resources Generalist

Job descriptionAgency Insurance Company, a rapidly growing auto insurance company located in Hanover, MD, is in search of a dynamic and self-starting Human Resource Generalist. This position will report to the Human Resources Manager and will assist in all aspects of the HR Department for this 240 person, 36 year old company including:Talent acquisition using resume search and recruitersInterviewing, hiring, and onboarding staffAdministering pay, benefits, 401(K), and leaveEnsuring company policies and practices are observedCelebrating employee achievements and anniversariesRequirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and conflict resolution abilities. Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of products including strong Excel skills. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations. At least five years of Human Resource experience required. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.LocationThis position is hybrid with at least 3 days per week in the home office at Hanover, MD.
