The position is primarily on-site to start, with hybrid flexibility available after an initial training and integration period.Key Responsibilities:Drafting legal memoranda and law & motion briefsConducting complex legal researchOpposing dispositive motionsPreparing and responding to discovery (written and oral)Taking and defending depositionsPreparing subpoenas and FOIA requestsSupporting second and third chair trial workManaging court dockets and making court appearancesCollaborating closely with case attorneys and opposing counselIdeal Candidate Profile:Strong legal research and writing skillsExperience with discovery and law & motion practiceHighly detail-oriented and organizedAble to build strong rapport with clients and colleaguesAdmitted to practice in Missouri and IllinoisComfortable with occasional travelPassion for plaintiff-side litigation and client advocacyCompensation & Benefits:Base salary: depending on experience100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA) with firm contributions4 weeks of PTO annuallyPaid parking401(k) retirement plan
