People Architects is excited to recruit for an experienced Human Resources Manager for a well-established and growing privately held company in the Cleveland area is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead and evolve its HR function during a critical phase of growth and transformation. The Senior Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, supporting the company's operational and cultural goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead full-cycle recruitment for both exempt and non-exempt roles, developing proactive pipelines to support ongoing growth.Manage onboarding and offboarding, ensuring compliance, documentation, and a positive employee experience.Act as a point of contact for employee relations issues and guide managers on resolution strategies rooted in consistency, compliance, and fairness.Design and implement policies, procedures, and employee handbooks that reflect current employment laws and company values.Lead engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives to enhance morale and team cohesion.Coordinate HR administration including benefits, payroll processes (in partnership with Finance), and records management.Build training and development programs that support employee skill growth and leadership development.Leverage data and HR metrics to advise leadership and inform strategic decision-making.Partner cross-functionally with leaders and external vendors to implement scalable HR programs and tools.Qualifications (required and preferred):Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) are strongly preferred.Minimum 8 years of broad-based HR experience, including at least 3 years in a people management or leadership role.Demonstrated success in talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance.Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment law and HR best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; approachable, empathetic, and credible with employees at all levels.Experience in a service-driven or field-based organization with multi-site operations is preferred.Must be hands-on and comfortable operating both strategically and tactically.We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
