They have been growing rapidly in recent years and this is a newly-created opportunity in the facility to help with this kind of growth.Main duties of the Controls Engineer include:PLC and HMI programmingLeading automation projects from design to installationProviding technical support on plant servers and networksInstalling new traceability packages such as Ignition, Rockwell NGT2 and PLEXLead plant expansion and capital equipment projectsUse AutoCAD to design machine control systems and plant layout to improve material flowWriting capital expenditure requests, then ensure completion of project with the necessary equipmentProgram Fanuc robotics systemsQualifications include:BS in an engineering fieldStrong electrical controls experienceExperience with Rockwell Automation software and components (RSLogix 500/5000, FactoryTalk View, FactoryTalk Transaction Manager, Kinetix Drives, Ethernet and DeviceNET communication protocolsPLC/HMI/Robotics programming experienceExperience designing controls systems using CAD
