SUMMARYProvide leadership and support in functional areas of human resources including employment/ personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, benefits administration, employee development, training, recruitment, EEO and special projects. Serves as a strategic and tactical business partner to the Plant leadership team. Assist in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee booklets, communications, and/or meetings. Prepare reports in conformance with legislated requirements or company needs.Job DescriptionCoordinates all necessary HR record keeping.Establishes and administers personnel policies. Processes all new employees and all change-of-status forms. Maintains permanent personnel records. Provides public information such as verifying employment. Conducts/coordinates orientation programs. Coordinates benefit program. Responsible for labor relations. Monitors unemployment claims.Monitors performance appraisal programs.Monitors workers' compensation claims.Coordinates payroll process.Coordinates job postings and recruitment activities.Generates HR metrics.Assure compliance with Federal & State employment regulations.Support organizational efforts in achieving goals and objectives.Responsible for other duties or special projects as assigned. Job RequirementsBachelors degree in Human Resources or Business CertificationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComputer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc).Excellent interpersonal skills.Professional appearance and conduct.Flexible work hours.Ability to travel, as required.
