Warehouse Manager - Exterior Construction & Solar RoofingAmerican Home Contractors is hiring! We are a leader in the exterior remodeling and solar roofing industry, and a proud TESLA Solar Roof Installer. We're seeking a reliable, organized, and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse operations from our Columbia, MD (21046) location.This role plays a key part in ensuring materials are where they need to be on time, every time, supporting crews across the Mid-Atlantic. The ideal candidate is organized, a clear communicator, and confident operating box trucks and forklifts.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day warehouse operations: receiving, staging, inventory, and dispatchOversee loading and material preparation for roofing, siding, solar, gutter, window, and door projectsDrive box truck to job sites destinations vary between MD, VA, DC, PA, WV, DE, and NJ.Maintain accurate inventory using warehouse tracking software and routine cycle countsOperate forklifts and other equipment safely (certification preferred)Ensure all materials are delivered accurately and on scheduleCommunicate with project managers, installers, and vendors to coordinate material needsKeep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulationsHandle returns, damaged materials, and backordersMaintain company tools, vehicles, and warehouse equipmentMust-Have QualificationsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordExperience driving a box truck (non-CDL, local routes)Forklift experience (certification a plus)Possess or able to obtain a valid DOT Medical Card (required for box truck operation)Strong time management and organizational skillsExcellent communication with team members, vendors, and field crewsPhysically able to lift 75+ lbs and perform warehouse laborComfortable using inventory software and Microsoft Office toolsMust pass a drug screen and background checkPreferred QualificationsPrior warehouse or logistics management experience in a construction/trade environmentFamiliarity with roofing, siding, and solar materialsBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not requiredExperience supporting multiple field crews or regional operationsWhy Join American Home Contractors?Be part of a respected and growing company in a high-demand industryCompetitive salaryFull benefits package including: health insurance, 401(k), PTO, and moreHands-on role with real impact on daily operationsGrowth potential within a professional and team-focused environmentReady to keep projects moving and materials flowing?Apply now to join American Home Contractors and lead our warehouse operations with confidence and precision.
