Date Posted: 06/16/2025Hiring Organization: Rose InternationalPosition Number: 484203Industry: ManufacturingJob Title: Manufacturing Technician - EngineerJob Location: Lexington, KY, USA, 40511Work Model: OnsiteShift: 8:00am to 5:00pmEmployment Type: TemporaryFT/PT: Full-TimeEstimated Duration (In months): 7Min Hourly Rate($): 29.90Max Hourly Rate($): 37.86Must Have Skills/Attributes: Manufacturing, Packaging, SAP, Shipping/ReceivingExperience Desired: Do you have 3+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or process enginee (4 yrs)Required Minimum Education: Bachelor's DegreeJob DescriptionRequired Education:• Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or similar.Required Qualifications:• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering• Experience with component replenishment / kanban / related material handling tasks• Experience in a new product development environment or related stage gate process awareness• Knowledge of verification and validation process / approvals process for new product development• Proven ability to work successfully in a multicultural virtual environment across various functions (design engineering, purchasing, quality, marketing, finance, mfg operations and others)• Motivated self-starter, who able to work autonomously in parallel on multiple projects• Facilitator to drive problem solving and project management activitiesPreferred Qualification:• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering• 5+ years of experience in packaging / shipping processes and related equipment.• Experience in SAP production softwareJob Responsibilities:• Manufacturing, preferably packaging experience, SAP knowledge inside a manufacturing plant Participate in the process and manufacturing teams to implement the NAM Primary Packaging Roadmap dictated by the PP/PS Sustainability Team.• Conduct research and studies on which sustainable packaging products are best suited for implementation at the local site, including coordinating formalized testing at laboratories.• Coordinate with manufacturing, process, SCH, procurement etc. on implementing new sustainable materials.• Lead local team to ensure all aspects of project have been implemented.• Physically assist with label changes, warehouse changes, workstation modifications, bin changes, etc. as needed per project• Research and Procure new fixtures, tools, bins, work stations, etc as needed per project• Conduct 3F and assist with FAIR reporting• Provide hypercare for new sustainable materials that have been implemented, and continuously resolve issues with new implementations.• Assist with reporting to PP/PS Sustainability team on project updates and completions.• Conduct financial impacts per project, including cost analysis, cycle time analysis, etc.• Assist with any XFMEA analysis that is required for each implementation.• Assist with work instruction modifications. Document the technical and generic specifications of the packaging process including line layouts, station layouts, capacity and workload balancing, preferred component usage, etc...• Ensure assembly process deliverables are aligned with global assembly process practices• Coordinate and assist with equipment installations and validations, if required.• obtain plant acceptance and provide the final sign-off on tool and process for project deliverables while following the principles of Performance System (SPS)Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.Benefits:For information and details on employment benefits offered with this position, please visit here.
