Clark Atlanta University is seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to serve as the Associate Director of Undergraduate Student Recruitment and Admissions. Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President of Undergraduate Student Recruitment and Admissions, the Associate Director will play a critical leadership role in driving the recruitment and admissions efforts to meet undergraduate enrollment goals. This position will directly supervise two Admissions Recruiters and one Transfer Admissions Recruiter, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management. The Associate Director will also be responsible for developing recruitment strategies, overseeing communication plans, generating weekly reports, and supporting the implementation of university-wide enrollment initiatives. The Associate Director will work closely with internal partners to coordinate and execute yield events, college visits, and targeted admissions campaigns to enhance prospective student engagement and conversion.Duties and Responsibilities:? Provide direct supervision, training, and evaluation of admission recruiters. ? Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans in alignment with institutional enrollment goals. ? Create and maintain targeted communication plans and campaigns to engage prospective students throughout the admissions cycle. ? Work directly with internal partners"”including academic departments, student affairs, and marketing"”to plan and implement yield events, college visits, and admissions campaigns. ? Produce weekly data-driven reports and updates for the Assistant Vice President of Undergraduate Student Recruitment and Admissions. ? Collaborate with internal stakeholders including financial aid, student services, and faculty to ensure a seamless and informed admissions experience.? Support the planning and execution of recruitment events, high school visits, college fairs, and yield activities. ? Monitor enrollment trends and use data to assess the effectiveness of recruitment initiatives. ? Serve as a key liaison for transfer recruitment and work closely with partner institutions to build pipelines.? Represent the University at both on-campus and off-campus recruitment events as needed. ? Perform other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:? Demonstrated ability to develop strategic recruitment plans and lead successful enrollment initiatives. ? Strong written and verbal communication skills. ? Experience with CRM systems and admissions technologies (e.g., Slate, Banner, etc.). ? Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. ? Flexibility to travel and work evenings/weekends as needed.Minimum Hiring Standards: Education Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree highly preferred. Years of Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in undergraduate admissions, student recruitment, or related higher education roles. Years of Management/Supervisor Experience 3 years of supervisory experience strongly preferred.
