Construction Project Superintendent

Job descriptionStorage Construction is a York, Pennsylvania based General Contractor that provides construction services.We are seeking an experienced Superintendent, located in or near the Fredericksburg, VA area. The Superintendent works with the Project Manager in a team approach to oversee the construction of multiple projects. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Coordinate the schedule of all subcontractors, material delivery and project activityMaintain the schedule and review with the PMMaintain 3 week look aheadInspect the jobsite for safety, quality and ensure adherence to all company policiesReview potential change orders with the PMSubmit daily reportsResolve problems that arise and may cause delayAttend weekly progress meetingAttend monthly pay-out meetingsImmediately report all accidents, incidents or near missesQualifications:Experience as a construction superintendent and/or a degree in Construction Science or related fields.Ability to read and understand construction plans.Must have a working knowledge of construction processes.Good communication skills along with computer skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Proficiency in Microsoft Projects.Proficiency in Procore Construction Software.Must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented.Good judgment, personal motivation and ability to work independently.Experience in self storage is a plus but not required.Benefits:Family/ Team CultureCompetitive Compensation PackageSalary will Commensurate with ExperienceHealth, Vision & Dental InsuranceRetirement PlanPaid VacationWebsite: We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
