This pivotal role involves overseeing plant-wide product quality, from overall assembly and inspection to managing subassemblies and end items on a project-by-project basis. You'll be instrumental in developing and implementing quality plans, managing corrective actions, and ensuring all quality personnel are expertly trained.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for QA personnel inspecting for product quality plant-wide: overall assembly, inspection, and activities for subassemblies and end items on a project-by-project basis for products.Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan compliant with quality system requirements.Revise and update quality control documents to incorporate statistical control programs.Manage and evaluate corrective actions and customer complaints.Conduct meetings with supervisors to discuss problems or work to be accomplished.Ensure all quality personnel are trained according to the ANSI Sampling Plan, the procedures and work instructions, and QA documentation.Recommend changes to the management operations, processes, procedures, and work instructions.Work with other managers to review sample submissions of new products and engineering changes.SkillsCollege degree or four (4) years of industry experience required.Full knowledge of Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP) and procedural knowledge (a computerized material control program).Experience with statistical analysis, precision measurement, and process capability studies required.Formal education in mathematics, statistics, and industrial practices is essential for this position.Must take and pass the pre-employment test.HardwareAll PC-related equipment & components with specialties.CommunicationGood interpersonal skills. Able to read, write, and speak fluently in English.
