LTG Incorporated, a wholly owned subsidiary of LTG AG, has been operating in Spartanburg, South Carolina for the past 30 years.Our business has been experiencing substantial growth, and we are presently in search of candidates for a Logistics Supervisor position to improve and restructure our warehouse and shipping/receiving area.Description: The individual is responsible for the planning/scheduling and warehouse supervising, adhering to specific criteria as assigned.Requirements: 3-5 years proven experience in logistics and warehousing.Degree preferred in supply chain management, engineering, business, or related field.Knowledge of international shipping regulations and practices.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.Team player with strong organizational, planning, and time management skillsBeing a self-starter and taking a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to build strong team alignment and leverage the strengths of others.Customer-focused.Organized and detail-oriented. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft OfficeAbility to lift up to 30 lbs. safely and up to 100 lbs. occasionally together with our shipping clerkJob Responsibilities:Live the Safety stand, adhere to the safety responsibilities. Ability to follow OSHA requirements.Provide regular reporting for inventory levels and shipping lead times.Communicate the scheduled delivery dates and any changes as required.Communicate inventory levels and issues when they arise.Prepare KPI reports on logistics performance metrics for management review.Troubleshoot issues in warehouse as needed.Coordinate and change, as needed, customer orders as to which warehouse they are to ship. Supervising Warehouse and shipping clerkMonitor and assist in the acquisition, management, and inventorying of Outside Warehousing as needed to maintain inventory awareness.Monitor and assist in the acquisition, management, and inventorying of North Carolina Warehouse as needed to maintain inventory awareness.Interact with third party shipping companies.Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of the activities in the warehouse.Developing and maintaining departmental work instructions for all tasks. Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet warehouse demands.Interpreting company policies and enforcing safety regulations.Recommending measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and improving equipment performance. Maintaining storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles, and recommending improvements.
