Summary of PositionThe Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate inventory management throughout the organization. You will be responsible for overseeing inventory control processes, ensuring compliance with company guidelines, and making valuable suggestions for process improvement. Your expertise in inventory management and supply chain operations will be essential in maintaining optimal stock levels and resolving discrepancies. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 6am to 4pm. QualificationsEssential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure the team works towards achieving the objectives related to inventory control management and make suggestions for improvement to the management. Train employees and staff in all inventory control processes according to manual and update processes if required Monitor all procurement requests of facilities and ensure accuracy in all inbound inventory and maintain records for same Education and/or Experience RequiredHigh School Diploma Forklift knowledge and experience Proven experience in inventory management Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Preferred Qualifications Post secondary education (2 or 4 yr. degree in Supply Chain or Business/Operations) Experience within the warehousing industry Supervisory experience Ability to work cross-functionally.
