In this relationship-focused role, you'll inherit a strong, established portfolio of commercial clients and be responsible for managing, growing, and developing new commercial loan relationships. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated lender who enjoys building long-term client partnerships and making an impact in the local business community.What You'll Do ? Manage a commercial portfolio of ~100 clients (typical loan size: $500K-$5M) ? Inherit and maintain an active book of business from a transitioning lender ? Engage regularly with clients"”think lunches, check-ins, and proactive service ? Source, structure, and underwrite new loan opportunities ? Work with credit analysts when available"”or underwrite independently when needed ? Negotiate terms and present loans for approval aligned with policy and risk guidelines ? Review and manage daily commercial overdraft approvals ?
