Position ScopeResponsible for ensuring our inventory value is accurate, complete, tracked, and adjusted with a high degree of precision and in compliance with both internal and external requirements.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibility is to ensure our inventory value is accurate, complete, tracked, and adjusted with a high degree of precision and in compliance with both internal and external requirements.Lead cross-functional team to ensure 100% completion of quarterly cycle counts.Work closely with other departments daily to identify and correct erroneous production reports, label errors, scrap, downtime, and any other item impacting performance.Daily review of prior day production reporting and implement any necessary corrective actions to ensure inventory is as accurate as possible.Review and submit new item setup requests, as well as maintain a listing of active items in ERP.Assist with product structure and variance reviews to ensure accuracy and determine root cause of variances.Assist Finance team with inventory valuation reviews.Periodic back up of logistics duties, as needed.Be the primary point of contact for all inventory related inquiries.Conduct annual review of inventory procedures to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Lead year-end inventory duties.Identify process improvements and make necessary corrections, as needed.Assists with other projects and performs other duties assigned, as needed.LogisticsCollects, interprets, and analyzes various types of logistics data including availability of product, reliability of transport and delivery, and other data related to product supply chain management.Maintains database(s) of logistics information.Tracks product flow from origin to delivery via web-based logistics systems and other appropriate methods of monitoring inventory.Reviews and analyzes transportation costs and delivery processes, inventory issues such as back orders, and other fulfillment metrics.Coordinates transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.Responds to customer inquiries and refers customers to the proper channels.Make special shipping arrangements, as necessary.Tracks and corrects shipping errors.Ensures that the quality of all services provided meet required standards.Job Requirements/SkillsAbility to work in fast paced manufacturing environment.Must be detail oriented.Forklift experience and certification, a plus.Excellent time management skills with an ability to work under pressure with strict adherence to deadlines.Ability to lead a cross-functional team of non-subordinates and still deliver results.Basic understanding of Injection Molding, a plus.Proficient with Microsoft Office, specific knowledge and understanding of Excel.Understanding of company-wide integrated ERP systems.Education and ExperienceExperience in Inventory Management and Control, preferred.High School diploma or equivalent.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to walk and stand on concrete shop floor for long periods of time.Ability to lift up to 15 pounds, occasionally.Use computer, keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Inventory control: 3 years (Required)Ability to Commute:Urbana, OH 43078 (Required)Ability to Relocate:Urbana, OH 43078: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
