Job Description

Our client, a leading global pharma company, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist (AD) to lead the development of advanced analytics and AI solutions that drive strategic decisions across Marketing, Sales, Medical, and Market Access. This role focuses on Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)resource allocation, and machine learning-based personalization to improve commercial performance and investment efficiency.Location: ONSITE, Cambridge, MASalary: to 250K + bonus and incentivesNO SPONSORSHIPRESPONSIBILITIES:Lead development and deployment of Marketing Mix Models (MMM) to quantify channel level promotional impactMeasure ROI across field force, digital, media, speaker programs, and patient initiativesBuild resource allocation and optimization frameworks to guide commercial investment decisionsSupport annual brand planning, scenario modeling, and in year budget reallocationDrive the long term data science and AI vision for commercial analyticsServe as a strategic partner to Insights, Marketing, and Access teamsTranslate brand objectives into scalable analytical solutions and machine learning pipelinesGuide stakeholders through insight activation and integration into workflowsProvide technical leadership on analytical tools, model governance, and responsible experimentationCollaborate with and mentor a high performing team of data scientistsManage external analytics partners to ensure alignment and deliveryRequirements:7+ years in analytics or data science, including 4+ years leading data science products, teams, or programsExperience in pharma or biotech, specifically with Marketing Mix Modeling and commercial optimizationStrong command of statistical modeling, supervised/unsupervised learning, A/B testing, and time series forecastingExperience deploying data science solutions in a commercial environmentProficiency in Python, R, SQL, Snowflake; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar toolsProven experience with omnichannel analytics, marketing optimization, and machine learning pipelinesExcellent communication and stakeholder influencing skillsPreferred SkillsMaster's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related fieldExperience building proprietary data products or commercial decision engines
