The primary focus of the Distribution & Logistics Analyst is to support logistics activities associated with internationally and domestically sourced products and materials. The Distribution & Logistics Analyst will work in coordination with the Supply Chain and Logistics teams to ensure inventory is in place and available for system-wide distribution and operational needs.The Distribution & Logistics Analyst will also analyze new items to ensure logistics optimization and support the team with communication related to freight negotiations and operational efficiencies.Additionally, this role will manage timely pricing communication to distribution centers (DCs), oversee distributor invoice audit processes, and ensure adherence to published pricing throughout the supply chain. This position collaborates extensively with cross-functional Supply Chain, Food & Packaging, and Operations teams and serves as a back-up resource within the department.RESPONSIBILITIESPremiums & Logistics Responsibilities (50%)Ensure preliminary shipping schedules from manufacturer facilities are within reasonable delivery timelinesDevelop shipment plans, including consolidation strategies, and validate timely shipmentsAnalyze and report expected delivery timing to hub warehouses or distribution centers based on transit schedulesCoordinate execution of outbound shipment plans with warehouses and carriersMonitor on-time delivery of purchase orders to DCs and coordinate recovery plans when necessaryCoordinate receipt of Proofs of Delivery (PODs), resolve quantity or quality-related discrepancies, and manage claims resolution in a timely mannerPrepare logistics budgets for each program for Supply Chain Manager review and approvalValidate ocean freight expenses, carrier invoices, and warehouse invoices for payment approvalOther Logistics Activities (25%)Monitor newly created items and review logistics packaging specifications to ensure optimization standards are metPrepare freight negotiation result summaries for communication to internal teamsPricing Communication Management (12%)Prepare, validate, and communicate weekly and monthly DC landed cost reports to assigned distribution centersValidate and approve franchisee price lists for each distribution center in MexicoMonitor and communicate pricing changes implemented outside the standard landed cost process through formal notificationsEnsure published pricing is accurately loaded into internal supply chain systems to support invoice audit processesReconcile pricing issues with team members, suppliers, and distributors as neededAddress and resolve operator pricing issues and requestsDistribution Alignment & Fee Management (2%)Manage distribution center-to-location alignment within internal supply chain systems, including validation with DCs as neededValidate franchisee and location alignment between internal systems and distributors in Mexico, resolving discrepancies to ensure applicable distribution fees are appliedManage all components of DC fee structures within internal systems to support invoice audit and cost processesMaintain DC fee-to-location alignment and validate updates with DCsPrepare, approve, and report diesel-related fee changes impacting DC fees in Mexico on a quarterly basisDraft and circulate operational updates regarding DC fee changesDistribution Invoice Audit Management (10%)Complete monthly location and item-level invoice pricing audits in a timely mannerPerform pre-audits to proactively identify and mitigate pricing errorsWork with DCs and internal teams to quickly correct identified issuesCommunicate and resolve pricing discrepancies with distribution partnersEnsure credits are issued as requiredProactively notify leadership of material discrepanciesMaintain reporting and communicate audit results as neededAdditional Responsibilities (1%)Cross-train with other distribution and logistics team members to provide operational support as neededDevelop presentation materials and ad hoc reportingBuild and maintain relationships with franchisees, distributors, suppliers, board members, and internal stakeholdersEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceDirect experience within an Asia-to-U.S. inbound logistics environment preferredAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills requiredESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSExceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skillsStrong analytical thinking and proactive problem-solving abilitiesExcellent customer service and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to communicate professionally with individuals at all organizational levelsStrong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficientlyAbility to develop and recommend process improvements and operational efficienciesQuick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processesPositive attitude and ability to perform effectively under pressureProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
