Job Title: Senior Course DeveloperNO C2C OR VISA SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE. ONLY US CITIZENS AND PERMANENT RESIDENTSlong term W2 role & Onsite in Tualatin, OR - 3 days (no relocation available)Looking for hands on mechanical aptitude who can create course material. proficient in PPT & WORDWhat We DoWe train Field Service Engineers in a virtual environment to perform semiconductor equipment service tasks. Our Course Developers convert service procedures into storyboards, which guide the VR designers with written and graphic instructions to create the VR courses.Who We Are Looking ForYou have a technical background, know how to use hand tools, and can follow written work instructions. Maybe you've worked in manufacturing or R&D and have performed assembly work or have worked as a test technician. You are familiar with mechanical drawings and schematics. You could also be a hardware trainer with experience working on/teaching semiconductor capital equipment. You must be detail-oriented, and it would be great if you've written procedures (SOPs).What You'll DoDevelop professional level storyboards from service procedures using PowerPointResearch storyboard content using CAD drawings, schematics, mechanical drawings, manufacturer spec sheets, etc.Work with subject-matter experts (SMEs) to provide quality assurance on the instructional materials you createTake screenshots and edit imagesCreate semiconductor system UI recordingsCreate narrations using text-to-speech softwareProduce quality end-products in a fast-paced and dynamic work environmentAnalyze service procedures at start of project to determine VR instruction suitabilityFacilitate group discussions/meetings with SMEs to align on training contentMinimum QualificationsProficient use of hand-toolsFamiliarity with machine hardware and electrical systemsProficient in the use of Microsoft products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and WordExcellent communication skills in both written and spoken EnglishAccuracy and attention to detail, communicate and ensure standards of accuracy and detail within the teamProfessional interaction skills in a team environmentPreferred QualificationsPossess a bachelor's degree in engineering, Adult Education, ISD, or a related field, or a two-year associate's degree in electrical/mechanical technology from an accredited college or university, or have experience working on large capital equipment performing ISD, or prior military experience developing and designing training curriculumKnowledge of video and audio production software, such as Adobe Premiere, TechSmithCamtasia, and WellSaidKnowledge of Snagit screen capture softwareExperience authoring technical procedures, manuals, or job aidsNice to haveExperience in media development, publishing and content managementExperience in the semiconductor industryExperience conducting classroom learning sessions, seminars, or workshops
