Title: Coordinator, Clinical Cancer Genomics (CCG)Location: 1500 E Duarte Rd, Duarte, CA 91010Duration: 12 MonthsDescription: The program coordinator under the general direction of the Business Manager provides research support to the Director and Chief of Clinical Cancer Generics within the department of Population Sciences, and an Assistant Clinical Professor and four cancer genetics clinicians who provide genetic cancer risk assessment for patients at and several satellite clinics. The coordinator will assist in the appropriate triaging of patients, obtain relevant patient information and medical records prior to an appointment, ensure that necessary follow-up appointments are scheduled and completed as well as assist with ongoing communication with patients and referring healthcare providers. The coordinator will also play a critical role in managing point-of-care services to align with the PACE (Perfecting the Ambulatory Care Experience) initiative.Spanish speaking is a plusMust have some EMR experience EPIC is a plusMust have worked in fast paced clinic setting doing schedulingHigh volume phone calls and heavy work queuePosition will start onsite and will become hybrid at managers approval
