Job Posting: Field Project ManagerLocation: Byhalia, Mississippi (Onsite) 6Months -possible extensionJob SummaryThe Field Project Manager provides technical leadership in designing, validating, and deploying engineered labor standards, Labor Management System (LMS) configurations, and performance-based incentive models at a large distribution center.This role supports a third-party logistics operation and applies Industrial Engineering, Lean principles, and data analytics to improve warehouse labor performance, system accuracy, and process efficiency while ensuring safety and quality compliance. Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering & Labor StandardsConduct statistically valid time studies and work samplingDevelop and refine engineered labor standards across warehouse functionsPerform elemental analysis, performance rating, and allowance studiesRun pilot studies and validate standard accuracyDocument standard work and preferred methods for SOP integrationLabor Management System (LMS)Configure and maintain NextView LMS standards and task logicValidate system mappings, engineered paths, and rulesAlign LMS with WMS transactions and operational workflowsTroubleshoot LMS calculation, reporting, and payroll interface issuesPerformance Analytics & CIAnalyze productivity, utilization, and labor variance dataBuild reports for ROI, payroll impact, and benchmarkingIdentify bottlenecks and inefficiencies using data-driven methodsDrive continuous improvement initiativesIncentive ProgramsDesign and implement performance-based incentive structuresDefine payout models, thresholds, and eligibility criteriaMonitor program effectiveness and operational alignmentTraining & DeploymentTrain supervisors and teams on LMS, labor standards, and incentivesProvide technical support for productivity data interpretationLean & Process OptimizationConduct warehouse layout and travel path analysis (AutoCAD)Identify waste, delays, and inefficienciesSupport Lean initiatives (Kaizen, 6S, RCA)Compliance & SafetyEnsure adherence to safety and quality standardsMaintain documentation for audits and operational compliancePromote safe workplace practices and PPE compliance Required Qualifications7-10+ years in industrial engineering, warehouse operations, or logistics engineeringStrong experience in labor standards and time study methodologiesHands-on experience with LMS platforms (NextView preferred)Proven experience implementing incentive-based compensation programsStrong knowledge of Lean principles and warehouse optimizationExcellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Preferred QualificationsPMP or Lean Six Sigma certificationIndustrial Engineering degree/backgroundExperience in healthcare or regulated environments
