ScopeThe Contract Professional supports the organization's contract management function by administering contracts throughout their lifecycle in accordance with established policies, standards, and risk tolerances. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to facilitate contract drafting, review, coordination, and compliance activities. The position contributes to effective risk management, contract governance, and operational efficiency through consistent application of approved contracting practices, systems, and controls.RequirementsEducationBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of three (3) years of contract-related experience or a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in contract drafting, administration, or contract management.Skills & ExperienceStrong analytical skills with the ability to review, interpret, and assess contract terms and identify business and risk implications.Working knowledge of contracting policies, standard terms, and contract lifecycle management practices.Proficiency with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems and Microsoft 365 applications.Experience supporting contracts within household goods transportation, relocation, global mobility, supply chain, or procurement environments is a plus.Job DutiesContract Drafting & ReviewDraft, review, and administer contracts using approved templates, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and amendments.Conduct initial reviews of incoming contracts to identify deviations from standard terms, approved playbook positions, and organizational risk tolerances.Assess and flag contractual risk related to indemnity, liability, termination, insurance, data protection, pricing, and other core provisions; escalate non-standard or high-risk issues to legal, procurement, or leadership as appropriate.Prepare clarifications, addenda, or revisions to align contract language with product, service, or project scope requirements.Negotiation & Stakeholder CoordinationCoordinate contract redlining and negotiation activities, serving as a liaison between internal stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Business Owners, Operations, Procurement) and external suppliers.Track negotiation progress, comments, approvals, and revisions to support timely contract execution.Provide contract status updates to management and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.Provide secondary support to the Purchasing team related to suppliers, contract templates, standard terms and conditions, CLM usage, and contracting processes.Lifecycle Management & ComplianceTrack contracts through all lifecycle stages, including drafting, review, negotiation, execution, renewal, and termination.Maintain accurate and organized contract records, ensuring data integrity, version control, archiving, and appropriate access within the CLM system.Monitor and report on key contract milestones, including expiration dates, renewal deadlines, auto-renewal provisions, and notice requirements.Support compliance with organizational contracting policies, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
