Title: Procurement Consultant (Indirect Procurement)Location: Plano, TX 75024Duration: 12 months with possible extension or conversionPosition: Onsite every Tuesday + as needed, Remote Mon/Wed/Thu/FriJob OverviewWe are looking for a Procurement Consultant to join the Indirect Procurement team. In this role, you will lead and support strategic sourcing initiatives, manage RFP/RFQ processes, and drive cost optimization and risk mitigation across key indirect spend categories such as facilities management and IT/software services.You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to develop sourcing strategies, manage contracts, and support procurement operations using SAP Ariba (Procure-to-Pay system). Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute multi-year sourcing and category strategiesManage end-to-end RFP / RFQ / RFI processes with internal stakeholdersSupport drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts including:NDAsProfessional Services AgreementsSaaS / Software License AgreementsWork closely with business teams and suppliers to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvementsAnalyze business requirements and support procurement solutions aligned with business needsNegotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms while managing riskUse SAP Ariba (PTP system) to process and review procurement requests and purchase ordersTroubleshoot procurement-related issues and support root cause analysis when neededEnsure compliance with procurement policies and drive operational efficiency Required Skills & Experience5+ years of experience in Indirect Procurement / Strategic SourcingStrong experience managing RFP/RFQ/RFI processesHands-on experience in contract negotiation and vendor managementExperience with SAP Ariba (Procure-to-Pay / PTP system)Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentExperience in procurement of services, SaaS, software, or facilities management Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related fieldExperience in automotive or large enterprise environmentsStrong background in cost optimization and sourcing strategyExperience working with global or cross-functional teamsAbout US Tech Solutions:US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
