Job Location: Boston, MAJob Duration: 12 Months with possible extensionPosition: IT Support Specialist / Help Desk AnalystResponsibilitiesProvide Tier 1 telephone, remote, and desktop support for end users Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to: Windows and Mac operating systems Email and desktop applications Hardware, printers, and software installations/configurations Process and manage tickets through the IT ticketing system, including escalation and resolution tracking Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions in knowledge management systems Support computer lab environments and monitor system uptime/resources Perform light hardware repairs and provide support for internal IT services Collaborate with team members to improve customer satisfaction and support processes Provide backup support for walk-in or field service requests as needed Required SkillsExperience supporting: Windows OS Mac OS Email and desktop applications Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills Experience using ticketing/help desk systems Knowledge of computer hardware, printer support, and software installations Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Experience supporting students, labs, or end-user computing environments preferred
