Retail Account Representative Nor Cal

Hatcheri Foods is seeking a motivated Account Representative to increase sales and support our brands in Northern California. In this position, you will be responsible for building sales, developing strong relationships with current and future retail grocery accounts in the field and merchandising as needed. This is an outside sales role and candidates should expect to be calling on accounts daily, with travel around the Bay Area. Candidates should reside in the Northern California. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork closely with key retailers to maximize brand distributionCall on accounts and regularly present new items to customer baseWork with manager and/or sales team for approval to develop and personalize sell sheets specific to distributors in your regionDevelop expert knowledge and understanding of all Hatcheri products, and be able to clearly communicate our brand's values and products to retail customers and consumersDevelop and grow store level relationships with retail and distributor partnersAbility to sell into a variety of retailers, including natural and specialtyEnsure best set merchandising standards at every store you visitPerform other duties as necessaryQualificationsExperience: Minimum 2+ years outside sales experience in CPG, food sales, or distributor salesAccount management experience with local or regional accountsEducation: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceAbility to travel weekly within the Greater Bay AreaSkills and abilitiesUnderstanding of lead generation, customer qualification and sellingAble to work independently and deliver high resultsWorking knowledge of CPG sales, and broker/distributor networksExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrategic thinking negotiation skillsProficient with MS Office; Excel, Word and PowerPointCompensation and benefitsWe offer a competitive compensation and benefits program to commensurate with experience.
