SALARY RANGE: DOENational Trailer Sales NTS is hiring for the role of Regional Parts & Service Manager. This is a full-time role, based in Decatur, Texas. This role is responsible for driving performance, consistency, and accountability across multiple service departments within National Trailer Source.The Regional Parts & Service Manager serves as a direct leader to Service Managers, a problem-solver for complex operational challenges, and a stabilizing force for locations without dedicated service leadership. With 10 locations across Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arizona, Florida, and Arkansas, we are focused on delivering the best customer experience in the industry.What you get:Competitive base salaryEmployer-sponsored health insuranceFree Telehealth plan for insurance participantsAccess to dental, vision, and more auxiliary insurance plansPaid time off and holidaysEmployee discount at the NRS Store (tack, feed, apparel, boots, home goods, and more)A team-first culture with strong leadership supportOpportunity to influence and scale service operations across multiple locationsKey ResponsibilitiesThe Regional Parts & Service Manager will:Provide direct leadership and support to Service Managers across multiple locationsAct as an interim Service Manager for locations without dedicated leadershipDrive shop efficiency, productivity, and overall service department performance Analyze reporting, KPIs, and operational data to identify gaps and implement improvementsTroubleshoot complex operational and personnel challenges across storesSupport hiring, onboarding, and development of service team membersLead and support technician training initiatives, including coordination with the Training CenterStandardize processes and ensure consistency across all service departmentsImprove turnaround times, reduce comebacks, and enhance overall customer experienceConduct regular store visits to assess operations, coach teams, and reinforce expectationsSupport and guide Service Managers in accountability, leadership development, and team performanceProvide leadership for Parts teams to ensure accurate parts sourcing, inventory availability, and timely fulfillment to support service operationsMonitor parts processes across locations, identifying gaps in ordering, inventory management, and communication that impact service efficiencyDrive customer satisfaction by implementing and monitoring feedback systems, ensuring consistent follow-up and continuous improvement in the service experienceWhat Success Looks LikeService departments consistently meet or exceed efficiency and productivity targetsImprovement in technician performance and retention across locationsLow comeback rates and quality of work meeting NTS standardsStrong, consistent leadership presence across all assigned storesStandardized processes implemented and followed across locationsStrong communication and alignment between Parts, Service, and Sales teamsLocations without Service Managers remain stable, productive, and well-supportedImprove customer satisfactionCandidate RequirementsThe right candidate for this role must have:Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% to assigned store locations for on-site support, oversight, and leadershipA minimum of five years' experience in service operations (RV, trailer, automotive, or similar industry)Proven leadership experience managing teams and/or multiple locationsStrong understanding of shop workflow, efficiency metrics, and production managementAbility to analyze data and translate it into actionable improvementsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsStrong communication and leadership presenceAbility to travel regularly between store locationsValid driver's licenseHigh school diploma or GEDPreferred QualificationsThe right candidate may have the following:Two years' experience in RV, auto, or boat dealershipExperience using a Dealer Manager System (DMS) like MotilityPrior Service Manager or Regional Manager experienceExperience building or improving service department processesStrong coaching and team development skillsAbility to step into underperforming environments and quickly create structureHigh level of ownership, accountability, and urgencyAbility to balance operational demands with people developmentWork EnvironmentThis role operates across multiple dealership locations and service shopsA combination of on-site outdoor shop environments and administrative workFrequent travel is required to support and oversee assigned locationsFast-paced, hands-on leadership role focused on performance, people, and process improvementRequires strong in-person presence with teams and leadershipPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout service shop environments regularlyAbility to lift up to 50 pounds as neededComfortable working around equipment, tools, and moving trailers/RVsAbility to travel frequently, including extended time on the road between locationsOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
