Trident Consulting is seeking a "Workday Payroll Program Manager " for one of our clients, a global leader in Mobility and transportation network.Role: Workday Payroll Program Manager Location: Remote Type: Contract Rate: $95-98/ hr on W2About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead large-scale PeopleTech and enterprise transformation initiatives. This role will drive cross-functional programs involving Workday, payroll systems, HR technology platforms, integrations, privacy/compliance initiatives, and enterprise operational transformation efforts.The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing enterprise-wide technology programs, coordinating complex integrations, working with executive stakeholders, and driving successful end-to-end delivery across Engineering, HR, Security, Privacy, Compliance, and IT organizations.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram & Transformation ManagementLead end-to-end delivery of large-scale PeopleTech and enterprise transformation programsDevelop and maintain integrated program plans, milestones, dependencies, timelines, and governance processesDrive cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, HR, IT, Security, Privacy, Compliance, Finance, and Operations teamsManage program risks, issues, dependencies, escalations, and executive communicationsFacilitate executive steering committee meetings and provide regular program status reportingWorkday / HRIS / Payroll ProgramsManage implementation and enhancement programs involving Workday, Dayforce, Greenhouse, and related HR technology platformsCoordinate payroll transformation initiatives including testing, parallel runs, and production readiness activitiesSupport organizational change management and operational transition planningIntegration ManagementOwn integration tracking and lifecycle management across enterprise systemsCoordinate API, middleware, and enterprise application integrationsWork closely with internal engineering teams and third-party vendors to ensure successful integration deliveryOversee System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End Testing (E2E), UAT, cutover planning, and hypercare supportVendor & Stakeholder ManagementManage relationships with implementation partners, vendors, and consulting teamsTrack vendor delivery against project scope, timelines, budget, and quality expectationsCoordinate change requests, SOW updates, and budget tracking activitiesCommunicate effectively with executive leadership and technical stakeholdersCompliance & GovernanceSupport GDPR, privacy, security, and compliance-related transformation initiativesEnsure program governance, documentation, audit readiness, and operational compliance standards are maintainedDrive process improvements and operational excellence initiatives across enterprise systemsRequired Qualifications8+ years of Technical Program Management or Enterprise Transformation experienceStrong experience leading Workday, HRIS, HCM, or payroll transformation programsExperience managing enterprise system integrations and cross-functional technical programsProven experience coordinating UAT, SIT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activitiesStrong understanding of enterprise program governance, RAID management, and executive reportingExperience managing vendors, implementation partners, and large enterprise programsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Dayforce payroll systemsBackground in GDPR, privacy, security, or compliance programsExperience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Zendesk, Greenhouse, Mulesoft, or BoomiExperience supporting AI, automation, or digital transformation initiativesPrior experience working in large enterprise or high-growth technology environmentsAbout Trident ConsultingTrident Consulting is an award-winning staffing and consulting firm headquartered in San Ramon, CA.
