About the RoleWe are seeking a Litigation Associate with at least 2 years of experience to join our Dallas office. This Associate will work closely with lead attorneys daily, engaging in all phases of litigation"”from case evaluation to discovery through trial "”focusing on strategic thinking to achieve client goals. While skills in preparing pleadings, taking and defending depositions, and trial preparation are important, prior trial experience is not required. We seek an Associate who is eager to learn, highly self-motivated, and interested in long-term professional growth. ResponsibilitiesAttending hearing, taking and defending depositions, while analyzing, assessing, and executing litigation strategies. Drafting written discovery, including preparing and responding to interrogatories, documents requests and request for admissions. Proactively managing communications with clients throughout the course of litigation.Timely and accurate reporting to our clients, ensuring compliance with their case management requirements. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of civil litigation experience.Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written.Excellent time management skills and ability to manage and meet deadlines.Demonstrable experience investigating and case handling with respect to research and discovery.Strong litigation experience with a capacity to be a proactive team player.Company OffersCompetitive salary range of $115,000 - $175,000 + bonus represents the firm's good faith range for this role at the time of posting.
