Construction Estimator Right Choice Construction is seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team in Houston. As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and building relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth for the company, all the while supporting the company's values of quality and customer service. You will:Seek out new project opportunities and relationships which will lead to our teams growth.Develop quality relationships with potential and current clients through email, phone, and face-to-face interactions.Increase job opportunities that will lead to company expansion.Ability to estimate projects including preparing bids for review and project take off.Accurately and consistently track data and contact information related to clients and business correspondence.Frequently communicate with company leadership to determine best practices and successfully coordinate jobs.Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance quality performance.Express expert knowledge of operations and services offered through the company.Partake in company meetings to ensure transparency and effective practices.Project Management experience a plus.Required qualifications:Experience with spreadsheets and databasesDetailed and comprehensive knowledge of commercial construction means and methodsMinimum of 3 years commercial construction estimating experienceStrong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and written and verbal communication skillsEagerness to foster relationships and work effectively as a teamAbility to work independentlyAttendance at scheduled project pre-bid walks, bid review meetings, and project team hand-over meetingsPay:starting salary at $75,000, gas allowance and commissionsIndustryConstructionEmployment TypeFull-time
