Akkodis is seeking a Power Electronics Design and Development Engineer for our Contract Position (12+ Months) role with our client in Auburn Hills, MI. Need strong experience with Power Electronics and high-voltage.Pay Range: $45/hr. to $50/hr. on w2. The pay may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Role: Power Electronics Design and Development Engineer Location: Auburn Hills, MIJob Type: Contract (12+ Months)Power Electronics Design and Development Engineer Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering5+ years of relevant experiencePower electronics / electrical models, simulation experience, and FEAPower electronics specifications expertiseElectric motor & powertrain controls experiencePower electronics design and release experienceStrongly prefer previous hybrid / high voltage experienceRequired Skills/Abilities:Bachelor of Science in Electrical or System EngineeringMinimum of 5 years' experience in electrification, electronics and circuit design and/or developmentMinimum of 3 years in power inverter, power module design and / or development and testingDemonstrable understanding of power electronics and devicesDVP&R and DFMEA creation & execution experienceGood analytical and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of Electrical Engineering standards/protocols, and of power electronics devicesIf you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
