Heating Air Conditioning Technician

This position is non-exempt and paid on an hourly basis with a salary range of $25.00 - $45.00 per hour dependent on experience and qualifications.JOB RESPONSIBILITESOn-site start-up technicianTroubleshoot installation of control systemsSolving issues using reasoning, logic, and voltmeterCommunication with individuals who installed the systemCommunication with manufacturersAssist the owner's representatives to demonstrate that the system has been set-up properlyDocumentation of actions taken on the jobsite to be included with project reportDirect discussions with building owners to assist with ongoing maintenance and servicePerform work on preventative maintenance agreements as assignedJob Qualifications:Minimum Education and ExperienceAssociate's degree / certification in HVAC related field or 3 years equivalent experienceKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesSelf-starter, high level of initiative, proven proactive behaviorCommitment to customer service (internal and external)Perform quality work, highly detailed oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines without direct supervisionInteract professionally with employees, customers, and manufacturersAbility to operate under pressure, deadlines, and the demands of an active jobsiteProven technical aptitude and familiarity with the use of a voltmeterStrong written and verbal communication skillsMust demonstrate MMS Core Values: driven and self-motivated, can-do attitude, team player, customer driven, do what's right and accountableWorking Conditions and Frequency:Ability to lift 50 poundsPosition will travel to customer sitesMajority of work to be completed on rooftop unitsEquipment and ToolsValid driver's license and clean driving record.We offer a robust benefits package that includes 401(k), medical, dental, company provided and voluntary life/AD&D insurance, short and long-term disability insurance, vision, HSA, FSA, along with other voluntary ancillary benefits.The aforementioned statements are not intended to encompass all functions and qualifications of the position; rather, they are intended to provide a general framework of the qualifications of the position.
