Preconstruction EstimatorLocation: Florence, KY 41022We are looking to add a Preconstruction Estimator to our team! The successful candidate will be eager to learn and develop new skills. As you gain traction in this role, you will be responsible for analyzing costs and budgets for our projects, as well as providing accurate estimates for materials, labor, and equipment. The ideal candidate will be flexible, organized, and possess strong analytical skills. This is an in-office position. Responsibilities:Learn to analyze costs and budgets for construction projectsProvide accurate estimates for materials, labor, and equipmentCollaborate with estimators, project managers and coordinators to develop project plansPrepare and submit bids and proposalsReview and analyze project specifications and drawingsIdentify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractorsUtilize Microsoft Excel and other software to create and manage project budgets and estimatesStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practicesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in related field2 or more years of experience in preconstruction estimatingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and other softwareAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhat we offer:Medical Insurance w/ HSA optionVision and Dental InsuranceCompany-paid LTDVoluntary STDLife Insurance401(k) Plan with 6% Employer matchCompetitive PTO plan
