CAD Designer | Halston Dresses & SportswearG-III Apparel GroupLocation (On-Site): New York City; Midtown Manhattan - Fashion DistrictPosition Overview:We are seeking a CAD Designer with strong expertise in print design to join the Halston Dresses and Sportswear team. The ideal candidate should have a refined design sensibility and a strong ability to translate creative concepts into detailed, production-ready artwork. This role is critical in maintaining the high-quality standards and innovative vision that define the Halston brand.Key Accountabilities:Partner with design team in creating and developing new prints and graphics for dresses and sportswear collections.Present color and strategy by season with design team.Review art studios, purchase, and manage art library.Create cost effective layouts for production as well as multiple colorways for each print.Communicate with mills to ensure timely development of strike offs and sample yardage.Aid in the development of sales tools for market appointments.Follow development calendars ensuring all deadlines are met.Manage copyright and studio invoices.Education and Experience:· 7+ years of CAD design experience in women's fashion, preferably in dresses, sportswear or contemporary apparel· Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator· Attention to detail with a strong sense of color· Understanding of mill practices/textile design/print techniques· Ability to work independently and in teams, multitask and take initiative· Must be able to work in an extremely fast paced environment· Experience in a high SKU environmentThe pay range for this position is: $75,000 per year - $90,000 per yearPlease note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Salary Transparency Law.About G-III Apparel Group, Ltd. | G-III excels at bringing excitement and confidence to customers through the fashion we create.
