The Research and Development organization strives to convert advanced science and cutting-edge technologies into impactful therapies.As a postdoctoral fellow you will apply innovative computational techniques to discover new disease mechanisms, which will expedite the delivery of top-tier medicines to patients globally.What You Will AchieveThe systems immunology group in client's Inflammation and Immunology research unit seeks an exceptional postdoctoral fellow with expertise in human genetics and computational biology to discover causal molecular and environmental risk factors for immune-mediated diseases.This project"”which will involve collaboration with a vibrant community of human geneticists, immunologists, and computational biologists"”will advance our understanding of the diverse, complex mechanisms underlying immune-mediated diseases.How You Will Achieve it:Contribute intellectually to the design and interpretation of a rigorous human genetics-led study of determinants of immune-mediated diseasesPerform intricate analyses of individual-level genetic, molecular, demographic, and clinical data to discover novel risk factors for immune-mediated diseasesDetermine the causality of such risk factors using methods in human geneticsCharacterize genetic correlations between diverse immune-mediated diseasesExplore and validate results across population-scale biobank datasetsInterpret the immunological mechanisms and significance of all novel associationsPublish in a high-impact journalMust HavePhD in human/statistical genetics or related fieldWillingness to make a minimum 2-year commitmentNo more than 2 years of post-degree experienceSuccessful record of scientific publications with at least one first-author manuscript published or submitted for publication in a peer-reviewed journalFamiliarity with common methods for analysis/associations with individual-level genetic data, and post-GWAS analyses (S-LDSC, MR, etc)Experienced with common statistical methods/tests; strong coding experienceWillingness to learn about immune-mediated diseasesAbility to devise innovative bespoke analyses and work independentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including communication with non-scientists, and high attention to detailNice to HaveExperience working with biobank datasetsExperience with basic and/or translational immunologyExperience with analysis of single cell RNA/CITE-sequencing dataAdditional InformationRelocation support availableLocation: On premise, hybridLast day to apply September 25th, 2025 The annual base salary for this position ranges from $62,700.00 to $104,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in client's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
