SUMMARY A fast-growing consumer lifestyle brand is looking for a collaborative, detail-driven Merchandise Planning professional to own receipt planning and assortment strategy across multiple product categories. This role will build and execute financial plans that align with business goals, drive sales growth, optimize inventory, and protect margins. You'll work closely with cross-functional partners"”spanning product development, marketing, retail, and digital"”to forecast demand, analyze performance, and influence key business decisions. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and wants to shape the planning function at a dynamic brand.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEvaluate historical sales data and current performance to guide assortment and receipt strategies.Build and maintain merchandise sales and inventory plans by category and key item.Partner with product, marketing, and allocation teams to align on assortment, pricing, timing, and flow.Monitor inventory health, ensuring sell-through targets are met and stock levels remain balanced.Provide insights to influence pricing, markdown strategies, and promotional activities.Coordinate with retail operations and allocation on store distribution and replenishment strategies.QUALIFICATIONS5-7 years of merchandise planning, retail/wholesale planning, or inventory management experience"”ideally within multi-channel or DTC environments.Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to translate large data sets into actionable presentations.Highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced setting.Able to prioritize multiple initiatives independently while collaborating effectively across teamsCORE STRENGTHSInitiative: Takes ownership and proactively drives results.Analytical: Identifies trends and applies insights to decision-making.Mathematical: Comfortable working with large data sets and complex calculations.Organized: Builds systems to manage and retrieve critical information efficiently.Communication: Establishes strong relationships and communicates clearly with diverse business partners.
