Jr. Design Consultant

WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE:BASIC FUNCTION:The Design Consultant - Showroom Sales - Main responsibility is to provide both customer services and suggestive selling to clientele, as well as help with the day-to-day operations of the Showroom.PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:Offers suggestions to clients regarding pattern, color, and other design elements.Coordinates special products and assignments for clienteleRequests product from inventory as necessary; Fulfills sample requests both within the showroom and through the WebGenerate and process reserves, sales quotes, and orders Organizes showroom and trimming displays as necessary Provide customer service to clientele, including order processing, customer follow-up, and customer inquiries.Support the outside salesperson with requests incurred on the road. All other duties as assigned by Senior ManagementSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:Highly organizedAbility to multitaskPassion for Design and good color sense is a plusSolid communication skills, both written and verbalProfessional presentationSales experience, preferably in a showroom environmentThe ability to work in a team environmentComputer literacy, including Microsoft Office Applications and ExcelDesign experience is highly preferredBachelor's Degree PreferredCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS:Base salary based upon experience, + commissionHealth coverage, Paid Time Off, 401k with company contribution, Long and Short-Term DisabilityWHO WE ARE:• We are CUSTOMERCENTRICThe customer is at the heart of everything we do.• We are HUMANSee people as people deserving of our trust, respect, and integrity.• We are UNITEDA community that supports each other through individual perspectives and collaboration?.• We are PASSIONATEDriven and committed to being better every day.• We PUSH BOUNDARIESMove beyond what is by challenging assumptions and embracing change.(This document in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.)
